Another weekend gone by too quickly my freakitos. The main thing I want to discuss is Tommy Bowden's firing at Clemson; am I shocked? Absolutely not. I know expectations are high these days but how many years has Clemson been picked to either win the ACC or compete for it yet how many years have they disappointed their alumni and fans? That falls on the head coach!
I have a question for my fellow Cane fans: if Clemson and Auburn can just up and fire their head coach and offensive coordinator respectively during the middle of the season, why can't Miami fire Patrick Nix?! Good grief he is a horrible coordinator and it's making Randy Shannon look like an even worse head coach. I'M JUST SAYIN'!
The Dolphins lost in a heartbreaker; this seems to be the theme for my teams.
How about New England? I'm so glad they suck!
Texas is ranked number 1....thoughts? Regardless, what a fun game that was to watch? On another note, how boring was the LSU/Fla game? LSU never showed up and got blown away...wow.

I have the NFL Network now. Every Tuesday & Wednesday, in an effort to help us til football resumes on Thursday... the NFL network replays 4 games. They cut them down to 90 minutes each, and we get games Tuesday from 8-9:30, Tues from 9:30-11, and then Wed night at the same time.
I always wonder what game they will show.... and tonight at 8, they are showing your Dolphins! DAMN, I needed them to win! As long as The Houston Texicans are losing, that is awesome.... for my AFC South Jacksonville Jaguars.
My Jags and my Saints sent a message this week, didn't they?
The 9:30 game tonight is Arizona & Dallas... which 95% of the country saw anyway. I may tune in the last few minutes so I can see Tony Romo's pinky get broken. How did that happen? Did his purse fall off his shoulder and then his hand landed funny on his purse? I wonder if his makeup bag got broken?
Clemson firing their coach. Sports Chica Caliente... to me, THAT was the top news story yesterday. ESPN should have been all over that... but no, they had to try and get a comment from Terrell Owens and Pacman Jones. WHO CARES? Why does ESPN think everyone in the USA loves the Cowboys and the Patriots?
Because ESPN is no longer in the business of reporting the news; they feel they are there to MAKE the news. You will watch and do what they tell you!
I feel bad for your Hurricanes. It is going to take ALOT for some coach to get in there and get his arms around that program.... recruit the right guys, not thugs, and return it to the glory days. I mean, come on!!!! The State of FLORIDA???? Isn't that where most all the awesome high school football players come from? I can't imagine Florida, Florida State, UGA and S. Carolina are grabbing them all! Hell, there are tons of awesome recruits in GA & SC too!

I am glad New England is sucking...I just wish Tom Brady was healthy and able to take part in this meltdown. How much longer til Randy Moss' atomic diaper blows up?
ALABAMA should be #1. I was glad over rated Missouri got beat. I had a cousin who went there & barely graduated. I do hope they can beat TEXASS this Saturday. Too bad that Brent Musberger is calling that game....he creeps me out. I know he was in love with USC's John David Booty.... I am trying to figure out who his new love is: Mizzou's Chase Daniels or USC's Dirty Sanchez? When he calls their games, I think he is sitting up in that booth with his pants down fantasizing about them. I am sorry you had to read that, but it is true!
I wore my LSU shirt Saturday night... I should not have done that. You Florida Gators fans owe me one for that!

PS: I am thinking of getting my Mom another West Highland Terrier. She had 2 she got from a rescue place, had them for about 10 years, and lost them both to natural causes a few years back. She is reluctant to get another one, but she just NEEDS TO! Any recommendations where to start? She already has a Golden Retriever.

I have decided to focus mainly on my Dolphins (easier said than done since I'm such a huge college fball fan), I hope they can regroup and get back to winning this Sunday!
I hate ESPN; they are so biased towards certain teams and regions it makes me sick.
And btw, I too think Brent Musberger is a freak!!!! As for your Mom and a doggie, rescue, rescue, rescue! I love Westies too.

Don't hate me because I didn't have time to write a blog entry last week with my picks! Work was really crazy last week but anyway. I don't think it affected too many people.
Dude, my Dolphins couldn't stop a 2 year old yesterday. Wow, we seemed to have been improving but now we are just digressing. At least the Canes did not lose to Duke as I expected. It's hard being me these days sportswise.
P.S. How many teams do you follow??
I follow too many Sports Chica Caliente. I LOVE NFL and I LOVE SEC football... I LOVE THEM...but not like THAT way.
I used to love NHL, but that has gotten boring... NBA can be flushed, and baseball.... I don't know...perhaps.
The college I went to no longer has a football team, which is good... it usually was the #1, #2 or #3 worst team in the PLAYBOY magazine ranking of worst college teams every year.
Now college basketball... that is a different story.
But the Jags & Saints are my favest. I am starting to like The Falcons again. You will be happy to know, I have a Dolphins jersey that I love very much. I just know your Dolphins will turn the corner soon.... you have my man Bill Parcells at the helm. He went to the same college I did and he was friends with my aunt.
I hope you had a good weekend. Mine's was OK.... no Falcons & No Jags.... I did alot to my apartment and I saw an AWESOME film Friday night called DAY OF THE JACKAL from 1973.
