Hey Y'all

Sorry, I could not resist that "Britney" greeting. I'm sitting here at home, working on WORK. Yes, that's what I said, freakitos. It's 7:05 in the PM and your Chica is working. Hence, the reason for no recent blog entry.

I'm not making excuses but it's just been busy since I started my new gig. I'm not bitching though, I just wanted to let you all know why LA CHICA has not been posting!

We are coming up on March Madness in a couple of weeks and this freaks me out because I cannot believe it's almost that time of the year. GEEZ. I promise I will post some entries on the Madness when the time gets closer.

Also, baseball season is fast approaching or at least Spring Training and that's exciting. There is nothing like a baseball game on a beautiful lazy Sunday in the Spring at Turner Field and I can't wait. Grrrrl.

I know this is a sports blog but this election stuff is crazy. I am a little tired of it already and we still have the rest of the year to deal with these candidates. I'm not going to lie, I really don't like any of them but anyway......(sorry but I've got Fox News on in the background and that's all they talk about)

Alright, freakitos, time for your Chica to chill out for the evening. Stay tuned......

More on Spygate...

Hola freakitos, your Chica has been crazy busy with work but fret not, my regularly scheduled blog entries will start up again soon. And since we are in a "down cycle" with sports right now, meaning the only thing I care about is college basketball at this time of year, if you have any suggestions for blog entry topics, let me know!

Okay, this link talks about Roger Goodell's meeting with Senator Arlen Spector and accuses Belichick of "cheating" since 2000! Check it out:

I'll be back later.

National Signing Day

Finally, we Hurricane fans have something to be happy about. Yesterday was national signing day and here is the way ESPN ranked the top 5:

1. Miami
2. Clemson
3. Alabama
4. Florida
5. Georgia

Check out the rest of the list here:

Who knows what this means, a lot of times these kids do not pan out but sometimes they do. That's what La Chica is hoping for!

HA!

I hate to be obnoxious but I'm only following the lead of some of my readers who left nasty little comments about the 1972 Miami Dolphins and how the Patriots could beat that team, blah, blah, blah. Well guess what: the Patriots LOST!!!!

I'm overjoyed; if I had more time this morning, I would go off on such an annoying tangent but I have to get to work

Go NY Giants! I'm so happy you beat an over-confident NE team and shattered their "perfect" season. They may have gone 18-0 but it doesn't mean a damn thing if you do not win the Super Bowl.

The truth hurts, no?
